P0335 Citroen Description. The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) works in conjunction with a 24X reluctor wheel mounted on the rear of the crankshaft. The CKP sensor has a B+ power supply, a ground, and a signal circuit. As the crankshaft rotates, the reluctor wheel teeth interrupt a magnetic field produced by a magnet within the sensor. 20K Share 1.1M views 2 years ago #CrankshaftPositionSensor In this video, you will learn 5 symptoms of a bad crankshaft position sensor. Watching this video will help you diagnose to see if it is FAQ #43. What is MAF Sensor? MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). Mass Air Flow Sensors provide a voltage signal, corresponding to the air mass entering the engine. The electrical signal is transmitted to the engine control module and is used to determine the required fueling for gas engines and for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control on diesel engines. Another sign that your crankshaft sensor might be faulty is an engine vibrating problem. Any such issue could signal a cylinder misfiring problem stemming from a failing crankshaft position sensor. 3. Fuel Economy Slippage . If your car crankshaft is not working optimally, one problem you'll face is reduced fuel economy. The reason for this is The auto elec is stumped. The only code is: ECU mute - 000. No codes beginning with p and no codes for abs fault!! I'd guess he's using a generic OBD reader - Lexia or Diagbox is needed to read the PSA specific codes. The nearest I can guess is "U1000 - The engine ECU does not communicate any longer on the system." Note - it is a guess. Hi Our service team is available 7 days a week, Monday - Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM PST, Saturday - Sunday 7 AM - 4 PM PST. P0335 code definition P0335 is a OBD-II generic diagnostic trouble code DTC indicating a malfunction in the crankshaft position circuit. What the P335 code means The P0335 DTC is set once the powertrain control module (PCM)

The changing gap causes the magnetic field near the sensor to change. The change in the magnetic field cause the voltage from the sensor to change. When the crankshaft position sensor (POS) system becomes inoperative, the camshaft position sensor provides various controls of engine parts instead, utilizing timing of cylinder identification signals.
The P0016 code stands for “Camshaft Position A – Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1)”, which means your crankshaft and camshaft are not in sync. Some of the common causes of the P0016 code include a damaged timing chain or belt, a faulty camshaft or crankshaft reluctor wheel, and a bad camshaft or crankshaft sensor.
Re: C4 Misfire and other faults. It is a strange one, I forgot to mention that when the fault occurs if you switch the engine off it will reset the fault and the engine management light usually stays on for a while, the fault may return with 10 minutes or it may not go into fault mode for a couple of days, the engine management light will
If there is no voltage to the pump, or if the pump is in fact running, then you probably need to get a Lexia diagnostic tool connected to the car to find out what the Engine management system thinks it is doing. wurlycorner. Car turns off while driving, then it does not start. Not even with push starting. Then after some random time (20 min to 1 hour) it starts again. The engine warning light is on, and the screen reads "Anti-pollution system faulty". Another sign that your crankshaft sensor might be faulty is an engine vibrating problem. Any such issue could signal a cylinder misfiring problem stemming from a failing crankshaft position sensor. 3. Fuel Economy Slippage. Reiterate: Automatic handbrake faulty with ESP /ASR and ABS faults showing, replacing the brake switch has not worked, bought a lexia system which (after a lot of hassle setting up!) diagnoses "C1320: front LH wheel speed sensor fault".
