This has probably been posted thousands of times, however I just wanted to remind everyone that if you want to see FM4 on next gen’s backwards compatibility, then you should definitely vote for it. No need to buy a new copy. According to Turn 10, "All existing Xbox One games, including Xbox Play Anywhere titles, Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games and accessories, will be compatible with Xbox One X." It’s sad seeing this go. I think backwards compatibility with 7th gen and before will remain a distant memory. What’s also bad is the original Halo and Forza are not supported with the backwards compatibility program. I wrote a guide if your interested which can come in handy for repairing original hardware. I do agree that these games desirve to be backward compatible but they may not actually make it because Turn 10 wants people to play Forza 6 instead. I don’t expect these Forza titles to make the list but I hope they will. The only games I like to play on BC are the Fallout series, Forza series and Elder scrolls series.
The third announcement ー and my personal favourite ー was the addition of 76 Xbox 360 and original Xbox titles for Xbox’s Backwards Compatibility program, filled with highly requested classics and head-scratching additions. Sure, you had stuff like TimeSplitters 2, F.E.A.R., and Binary Domain finally making their way to the program, but But unfortunately that is not the case however, that only a selected handful of games are backwards compatible while Forza Motorsport 2, 3, and 4 are still not on the list, and Turn 10 nor Microsoft has given any insight if they will or not. Plus, this is a first party Microsoft franchise so there is no excuse for this to be the case.

I can imagine it being a technical reason why PGR4 isn't BC yet, they don't just work like magic. After thinking about it I think the reason it isn’t available has to be because of the real life car licensing issues. That is the reason why Forza Horizon 1, 2, and 3 aren’t available anymore.

Bizarre Creations punched above their weight, and I feel like now is the perfect time for people to realize what this game brought to the table.

Of course, when going back to PGR4 there are things we miss about modern racing games. For instance, it takes some getting used to 30FPS input lag again, especially for a fast-paced racer like this one. We would have loved a backwards compatible FPS Boost effort here, but alas, we'll have to settle for the Xbox 360 version for the foreseeable! Neither one made the cut in the first round of backwards compatibility games. Official Forza Community Forums Edit: I said recent, but Forza 4 came out in 2011. lol. Has Turn 10 ever addressed the possibility of any of the other Xbox 360 Forza titles coming to Backwards Compatibility for the Xbox One?
